Privacy Policy
Effective as of September 26, 2026
Overview
Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to Airfive Inc. ("Airfive", "we", "us", or "our"), the parent legal entity that owns and operates airfive, and governs data collection and usage. airfive is a brand and product of Airfive Inc., so for the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to airfive include https://airfive.com and the airfive bug-fixing chat widget and dashboard. Airfive Inc. is the company responsible for your personal information under the laws that apply to you. The airfive service is an AI-powered chat widget and bug-fixing platform that answers questions from your app's visitors and helps fix reported issues in your code. By using the airfive service, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Collection of your personal information
In order to better provide you with products and services offered, airfive may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:
First and last name
Email address
Password (stored only in encrypted form)
If you purchase airfive's products and services, we collect billing and payment information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction and is processed by our payment provider.
If you are a visitor to an app that uses the airfive widget, the only personal information we collect from you is the email address you optionally provide so the app's owner can follow up with you about your question. Conversations may also include the messages you send, any screenshot you choose to attach, and technical details about the page and browser you were using when you reported an issue. We also collect a one-way hashed version of your IP address solely to apply rate limits that prevent abuse — the hash cannot be used to identify you.
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services. These may include: (a) registering for an account; (b) signing up for special offers or newsletters from us or selected third parties; (c) sending us an email message; (d) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services. We will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.
Some conveniences are stored only on your own device using your browser's local storage — for example, the email address you last signed in with (so we can pre-fill it for you) and your sign-in session. This information never leaves your device except to sign you in, and it is erased when you clear your browser data.
Use of your personal information
airfive collects and uses your personal information to operate and deliver the services you have requested — including answering questions from your app's visitors, drafting and reviewing suggested code fixes, committing approved fixes to repositories you connect, and sending you service, alert, and account communications.
When the AI answers questions in the widget, it reads only what it needs to understand how the app works and what went wrong. We do not use your customers' conversations to train AI models.
Sharing information with third parties
airfive does not sell, rent, or lease its customer lists to third parties.
airfive may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email, provide customer support, process payments, or deliver the chat and bug-fixing features of the Service. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to airfive, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.
When you connect a GitHub account, the access you grant us is used solely to read your repository in order to answer questions and to draft and commit fixes. You may revoke this access at any time, as described below.
airfive may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on airfive or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of airfive; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of airfive, or the public.

Delete your personal information from our records; and
Direct any service providers to delete your personal information from their records.
Please note that we may not be able to comply with requests to delete your personal information if it is necessary to:

Otherwise use your personal information, internally, in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided the information.
